What is MII
MII is an integrated cost estimating system, including software and associated databases that meet the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) requirements for preparing cost estimates. Since it is now used by many of the USACE districts, it will soon be a requirement for all USACE districts to use MII. It is to become mandatory for architect-engineering (A-E) firms performing design work for the USACE as well.
Partnership with TRACES
The U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center has partnered with JMF Training & Support to provide training and technical support for MII,HII, and Area Cost Factors (ACF).
Managed by the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center TRACES provides a standard suite of automated tools used for the preparation of programming estimates, current working estimates, bid opening IGEs and construction modification estimates. TRACES applications are used in support of military; civil works; hazardous, toxic and radioactive waste; and other projects worldwide.
